Margaret Davis/Boston Strangler

Several news agencies have reported that the Roxbury house in which Margaret Davis, the fourth woman whose strangling death was attributed to Albert DeSalvo, was murdered is due to be demolished.

David wasn't murdered at 139 Blue Avenue. She was found dead in bed by a chambermaid in a room at the Hotel Roosevelt in Boston. She had checked into the hotel the previous night with a man who gave his name as Byron Spinney.

June 14, 2012 was the fiftieth anniversary of the first of the strangling murders, that of Anna Slesers.
