Until Proven Innocent

This is a complicated plot to explain. There are a lot of things going on: murders of reporters, the evil machinations of corrupt billionaires, but mostly the arrest of Liz's longtime romantic partner, Jack, for a crime he didn't commit. She has to get him off the hook. Of course all these events are connected, and can be traced back to one person.

I was moved to write this by the murder in the 1980s of Arizona Republic reporter Don Bolles. My story bears no resemblance to actual fact, other than the very salient one of a good man being murdered for doing his job.
